Paris has warned Damascus against crossing the border into Lebanese territory, the pan-Arab daily al-Hayat reported Thursday. Citing European diplomatic sources in Beirut, the newspaper said France has informed Damascus of its "clear position" regarding Syrian troop buildup along the border with Lebanon: "No to turning Lebanon into another Georgia."...A Lebanese army spokesman had said that nearly 10,000 Syrian Special Forces have been deployed in the Abboudiyeh region along the border.
