Iran has dispatched to Lebanon secret serviceman Mohammed Riza Zahdi, nicknamed Hassan Mahdawi, to replace top Hizbullah commander Imad Mughniyeh who was assassinated in Damascus last February. The report, carried by the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, said Thursday that Mahdawi's primary assignment is to coordinate between Hizbullah and the Syrian intelligence as well as help set up new combat positions in south Lebanon and guarantee regular import of weapons to Hizbullah.
